Phenomenal coffee, and incredibly helpful staff. Their Colombian/Guatemalan beans are delicious and an amazing value (and are basically the only thing getting me through school haha)

Just picked this up today after discovery and ordering online. Had a chat with the very friendly owner who has been roasting for 12 years. Ordered the Aponte Honey Processed whole bean coffee from Nariño, Colombia. Wow, what a great roast. True to its namesake, the honey fragrance is subtle when the bag is opened but very apparent as soon as you grind. For me, the smell and flavor was more like caramel or Biscoff. The fragrance lingers once served. As a medium roast, the mild flavor and fruity profile are highlighted when brewed by French press. Definitely will buy again and I wish all the best to RHR, thanks!

Richard at Red House Roasters was incredible. Extremely welcoming and told us all about their products and where they come from. Will definitely be picking up another bag of their jersey devil blend!

The world of coffee in a cup. As a lifelong coffee drinker but with a relatively simple palate, the different characteristics of each Red House blend or varietal are like new discoveries after a lifetime of over-roasted beans. I am working my way through the menu in search of a fave.

This Roaster is the real deal! You must stop by and see all the coffee / espressos they just roasted yesterday. You will not be disappointed, they have beans for every one.

I love this place! The owner is super nice along with the employees. They have in house roasting which guarantees the freshest beans (or grounds, if you prefer). They offer all types of roast depending on the type of bean. Ask them about their range of coffee and they'll help you find the right bean and roast for you. They offer my favorite coffee bean, the Yirgacheffe. I, actually travel a bit out of my way just to get to this gem. It is worth the travel. Give them a try and you won't regret it.

Red House Roasters is a true find in a rather gritty part of Newark on a small side street parallel with McCarter Highway. For years I thought it was a funky music studio until I actually stopped by. It’s a small beehive of coffee roasting, and you can walk in and shout Hey Richard and Richard , the co-founder and Newark native, will ask you about your coffee preferences and then steer you to the barrels of freshly roasted beans to let you smell and decide. The 12 oz bags generally range from $12-14.

Great coffee selection, amazing service, and beautifully poured coffee. This business has a great selection of whole bean coffee for international coffee lovers. There is a current promotion where you get a free cup of coffee with the purchase of a bag of beans and the espresso is truly delicious!

This place is beyond legit. It's basically a warehouse where they roast coffee and you have the opportunity to buy it there. They also make and serve coffee. I haven't even tried the beans, but I'm pretty confident they'll be great. Got a latte as well and was casually presented with the coolest, neatest seahorse I've ever seen. Just look at it. Wth. I saw some latte art awards. I'm in shock. I'd give 6 stars if I could.
